PITTMAN, D. LOUISE - age 81 of Knoxville, TN formerly of Houston, TX passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011. Louise was born May 10, 1930 in Abilene, TX to Marshall and Cecile' Mullins and married Larry Pittman on April 11, 1952. Her greatest joy in life was the love and company of her extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Pittman; parents, Marshall and Cecile' Mullins; sisters, Marceil Kevil and Maxine Buxton; brothers-in-law, Marvin Baker, JD Kevil and Joe Bain. Louise is survived by daughters, Jackie Brown (David) and Teresa Pittman; grandsons, Travis and Austin Brown; sisters, Lucille Bain and Ann Baker; aunt, LaVerna Martin and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their most sincere appreciation to Tony Cooper, Sylvia Tony and Debbie Via of U.T. Medical Center's 7 South and the entire staff of Mercy Residential Hospice for their compassionate care of Louise and her family. Graveside Services will be held at Davis-Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, TX. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Knoxville by Father Chris Michelson at a later date.
