She married Noah Bryan Johnson (B: 24 Mar 1899 D: 31 May 1979) on 20 Mar 1926 in Benton, Illinois. They had two infant sons that died and were buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Saline County, Illinois. Elsie was a secretary at Pleasant Valley Church, Noah was a deacon at the church.
To supplement their income Elsie and Noah would travel north to Michigan and cook for a camp during the summer. They both loved young people.
Both Elsie and Noah were wonderful, loving people.
