Son of Ebenezer Heath by his second wife, Dorcas Slaughter.

He enlisted as a private in May 1776 in Capt. Jonathan Parker's company, Col. Sage's regiment, Gen. Wadsworth's brigade of the Connecticut line, serving six months in that enlistment. He enlisted again in 1779 in Capt. Benedict Arnold's company, serving two months in that enlistment.

At Tyringham, June 24th, Mr. WILLIAM HEATH, a revolutionary soldier, aged 93.
