Several Years ago, I found the upper part of a marker for Rezin Dye, but I was unable to find any dates on it. Later, looking through my pictures, I found another broken section of marker, with inscriptions. I decided to investigate this, and today, I believe that it is the lower portion of the marker for Rezin Dye. It seems it was broken into three sections, one of which is now lost, the thickness is the same, for each section, and the sides show a taper, and when you place the two sections together, they line up. The broken areas align quite well also. I can read "Rezin Dye" ".....43yr 1mo .... 6dy" Other records indicate Rezin's date of birth, and from that with information is where I obtain his date of death. (The Death Date on the Marker would be on the portion that is now lost.)

James Dye is buried in the Dye Family Cemetery, just off the Road leading from Brave to Jollytown, just past the Hunnel Shaft, some time years and years ago, his marker was removed to the Meighen Cemetery. The Dye Cemetery itself is all but lost. The Remaining stones for Mary and Rezin Dye are mostly Broken and piled around the base of a tree that has been recently cut down. Mary has two stones in the Cemetery. One that was placed near the time of her death, and one that matches the marker for James that is now located in the Meighen Cemetery.

On the 15th of September, 2012, after obtaining permission from the State Historical and Museum Commission, Consolidated Coal (Owner of the property where the Dye Cemetery is Located) and the Caretaker of the Meighen Cemetery, I moved the Dye Stones, and placed them here in the Meighen Cemetery, where they could stand next to James Dye's Stone that was moved here many years ago. I placed Resin's marker today, 20th August 2013.
