James, Mary and Rezin Dye are actually buried in the Dye Family Cemetery, just off the Road leading from Brave to Jollytown, just past the Hunnel Shaft, some time years and years ago, his marker was removed to the Meighen Cemetery. The Dye Cemetery itself is all but lost. The Remaining stones for Mary and Rezin Dye were mostly Broken and piled around the base of a tree that has been recently cut down. Mary has two stones in the Cemetery. One that was placed near the time of her death, and one that matches the marker for James that is now located in the Meighen Cemetery.

The Inscription on Mary's Original Stone reads:

In
Memory of Mary
Dye The Wife of
James, Dec June
The 15th 1821 aged
53

On the 15th of September, 2012, after obtaining permission from the State Historical and Museum Commission, Consolidated Coal (Owner of the property where the Dye Cemetery is Located) and the Caretaker of the Meighen Cemetery, I moved the Dye Stones, and placed them here in the Meighen Cemetery, where they could stand next to James Dye's Stone that was moved here many years ago.
