Millie W. Abegg, age 96, passed away Tuesday evening, December 7, 2004 at Winchester House in Libertyville. She was born December 14, 1907 to Henry and Amelia, nee Clift, Wrench in England. Millie was a former resident of Saddlebrook Farms, a lifelong member of the Village Church of Northbrook, and 34 year employee of the Chicago Northshore and Milwaukee Railroad, retiring in 1962. Survivors include her daughters Ardeth J. (Warren) Kafka, and Barbara (John) Koelling, both of Inverness, FL; her grandchildren, Sandra (Greg) Reck of Lake Villa, IL, Greg Koelling of Tullahoma, TN, Lea (Charles) Hahn of Wildwood, IL, Sheryl (Steve) Russakov of Huntington Beach, CA, Lynn (Bill) Cox of Ft. Myers, FL, Ardeth (John) Marchetti of S. Ste. Marie, MI, Rob (Sharon) Kafka of Island Lake, Doug (Mary) Kafoa of Ramona, CA, and Bill (Lehda) Kafka of the Phillippines; 15 great-grandchildren; many wonderful nieces and nephews, especially Pat Cousins. In addition to her parents; her husband, Lee Abegg, preceded her in death in 1985. They were married September 11, 1929. A memorial service will be held at a later date this coming spring.
