She was born on March 29, 1926, in Pratt, Kansas and married Tommy Gage on June 14, 1946 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1994.
Barbara was a long time resident of Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School. She worked at First National Bank for several years and then helped her husband, Tommy, at Tommy Gage Oil Company, until retiring. Barbara enjoyed spending time in Ruidoso, New Mexico and world travel.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one brother and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Lu Laswell of Fort Worth, P. D. Heith of Big Spring; a special friend, Kathryn Johnson of Big Spring; and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Marjorie Graves, and a brother, Robert B. Laswell.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Heritage Museum, Big Spring, TX.
