Processional at 10:45 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Ocean Springs, Miss., 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial in Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi, Miss. Survived by wife, Mrs. Anne Matherne, Ocean Springs; mother, Mrs. Manelia Matherne, French Settlement; a daughter, Mrs. Nilda Ranne, Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Nolan A. Matherne, and Clifford P. Matherne, both of French Settlement, and Ray A. Matherne, Geismar; two grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
