Lawrence D. Shutters, 75, of 1610 West Hill Road, Gerry, passed away Sunday (Feb. 6, 2011) in WCA Hospital.
He was born July 30, 1935 in Kittanning, Pa., the son of the late David and Wilda Beckett Shutters.
Surviving are his three children: Patricia M. (Richard) Reich of Falconer, David L. Shutters of Gerry and Donald (Renee) Shutters of Jamestown; four grandchildren: Steven Reich, Shaun Reich both of Falconer, Trenton Shutters and Brooke Shutters both of Jamestown; two brothers: Paul (Nancy) Shutters and Dean (Marjean) Shutters all of Kittanning, Pa.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn E. Overturf Shutters whom he married April 19, 1958 in Kennedy, who died May 10, 2000 and a sister Dorothy Shutters.
