Shutters, Carolyn E., 59, of Gerry, died May 10, 2000. She was born April 27, 1941, the daughter of Walter and Phyllis Smith Overturf. She was the wife of Lawrence D. Shutters, whom she married April 19, 1958. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Patricia M. Reich; two sons: David L. and Donald W. Shutters; three sisters: Maxine Brown, Christine Kaltenbach, and Donna Feldman; five brothers: Gordon, Melvin, Gary, Roger, and Wallace Overturf. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Nancy V. Shutters. Burial was in the Gerry Hill Cemetery
