Mrs. Minnie P. Weyer, 83 of Kansas City died at her home at 918 East Ninth. She was born in Richardson County, Nebraska and moved to Manhattan and then to Kansas City in 1925. Mrs. Weyer was a member of the Congregational Church of Centralia and the Royal Neighbors. She was postmaster in Centralia eight years during a Democratic administration.
She was the widow of John Edward Weyer, who was formerly in the livestock business in Kansas City. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. G. Proudfit, Kansas City, and Mrs. Verda Eakin, Mission, and three sisters, Mrs. Lewis Hilt, Sabetha, Mrs. Henry Mall, Wetmore and Mrs. Frank Wilson, El Monte, California. Services were held at the Hayes Chapel in Centralia conducted by Rev. Glen Amend. Mrs. C. G. Heath was soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Craig Bachman.
