Services for Homer Andrew Whittington, 64, of 1013 W. Hubbard will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel and they will be in charge of arrangements. R. B. Shiflet will officiate with interment in the Sturdivant Cemetery.
Whittington died Thursday at 9:30 p.m. in a local hospital. He was born August 23, 1912 in Chillicothe and had lived in Mineral Wells since 1947. He worked in a foundry and machine company and was a member of the Baptist Church. His wife preceded him in death in 1969.
Survivors are two daughters Lillie Bell Stalzer, California; Peggy Glaze, Modesto, Calif.; one sister: Viera James, Albuquerque, N.M.; four brothers: Lonnie P. Whittington, Bethany, Okla., Willard Whittington, Amarillo, James E. Whittington, El Paso, and Dillard Whittington, Dallas; and five grandchildren.
