Mrs. D.M. Hopkins Dies At Age 52
Mrs. Frances Bond Hopkins, well known resident of Grady County for many years, died Wednesday afternoon at her home at 1224 Dakota Avenue after a long illness. Her husband is in the real estate business. Mrs. Hopkins had lived in Grady County nearly all of her life and for 17 years had made her home in Chickasha. She had been in ill health for the past seven years and had been confined to her bed for the past nine months. She was 52 years old.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. She also belonged to the Service Mothers Club of Chickasha. Possessed of an unusually charming personality, she made many friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock in the chapel of the Chickasha Funeral Home with Rev. S.W. Badgett, pastor of the Ninth Street Baptist Church, in charge. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Chickasha Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her husband, D.M. Hopkins; two daughters, Miss Peggy Jo Hopkins and Mrs. James Sawyer, both of Chickasha; two brothers and four sisters.
