Daniel Stump...visited us pretty regular. He was at our (Canadian) lovefeast in this part in 1843, 1846, 1848, 1860 and 1865.
He with one of his daughters paid us a visit, but met with a sad calamity, whereas his daughter while here took sick and died, and was laid to rest in the bretherns' graveyard in the Township of Vaughan.
A Concise Review and Brief History of the Church at Present Known by Her Adopted Name, Brethren in Christ,
Formerly Known by the Appelation River Brethren or Tunkers
probably written by Jonathan Baker
