Roy Ellis Wheat, 84, of Newton, died at noon Monday, November 26, 2007 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Visitation will be today at Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Newton with Fr. Al Kemme officiating. Burial with full military rites by the Jasper Post # 20 American Legion will be in New St. Peter Cemetery in rural Newton.
In loving memory of Mr. Wheat, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
