John A. Wilson Has Married His Fifth Wife.
His Previous Matrimonial Ventures Resulted In Two Deaths and Two Divorces.
Franklin, Ky., Nov. 12. -- Special. --
John A. Wilson and Mrs. L. S. Hardy were married to-day. The Rev. J. H. Dashwood, of the Baptist church, officiated. Mr. Wilson is one of the most prominent farmers in the Gum precinct, this county. He is seventy-four years old, and this is his fifth marriage.
Mr. Wilson first married Miss Sue West, and lived happily with her twenty years until her death. His second wife was Miss Mattie Tapscott, who died five years ago. He married his third wife in New Albany, Ind. She returned to Indiana and a legal separation followed. In a very few weeks thereafter he married Mrs. America J. Wallace. Mrs. Wallace-Wilson went to Texas to live with a son. The present Mrs. Wilson was waiting for Mr. Wilson to secure divorce, which was granted to-day, and immediately he procured this fifth marriage license and the ceremony was performed.
