Eliza (Scanland) Wilson was the daughter of John and Margaret (McMurry) Scanland of Marion Co., KY. She married Micajah Wilson on 11 Jan. 1825. He predeceased her on 7 July 1874 and is believed to be buried in Old Liberty Cemetery, Bradfordsville, Marion Co., KY. After his death, Eliza moved to Texas with several of her children.
