Funeral services for Joyce Duke, 92, of Trout, were held at Saturday October 30, 2010 at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena, Rev. Byron Norris officiated. Interment followed at Belah Cemetery.
Joyce was born September 28, 1918 to Albert and Inez Stapleton Windham in Trout, LA and she passed from this life on October 28, 2010 at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Jena. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gilbert Duke; her parents; one brother: Fred Windham; three sisters: Lottie Bradford, Leather McClawchlin, and Marie Peavy;
Survivors include one daughter of Trout; two brothers; one sister of Scott, LA; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
