Arabella was the 7th generation descendent of the Rev. John Lothropp. #954 of the LATHROP FAMILY MEMOIR BY REV. E. B HUNTINGTON PUBLISHED IN 1884.

Arabell and Joseph had five children survive to adulthood.

(1) Arabella, dau. of Zephaniah and Rachel (Wood) Lathrop of Hawley; she was b. Sept. 25, 1786; d. Apr. 2, 1838 [sic*]; m. (2) Nov 10, 1839, Rowena, dau. of Lemuel and Lucy (Briggs) Taylor of Buckland. She was b. Jan. 27, 1809; d. at Winchester, Ill., Sept 15, 1885. Joseph Hubbard was selectman and overseer of the poor. 11 children listed.
