Peter was the son of Alexander Sandy McDaniel and Sarah (Stubbs) McDaniel.

Peter married and unknown lady. No other information on this marriage. They had two daughters.

2--Culan Emma [????-????]

Nothing is known about the two girls. They disappeared during the Civil War.

Peter served in the Civil War along with his six brothers.

Later, Peter married Emily Williams on October 30, 1870 in Crockett, Houston County, Texas. Together they had fourteen children.

The picture of Peter was in my grandmother's pictures. The picture of Peter's headstone was sent to me by a great-grandson, Jack Lavoe McDaniel.

Peter was my great-grand uncle.
