Aubra Charles, 80, Carthage, a resident most of his life of the Red Oak community in Lawrence County, died at 2:16 a.m. Thursday at McCune-Brooks Hospital.
Born Aug. 31, 1906, near Red Oak, he was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife Elfrieda, a son Eugene Charles; two brothers Victor Charles, and Cecil Charles; two sisters Geneva Leyerly., and Vern Todd, and a granddaughter.
Graveside services are planned at 11 a.m. Saturday at Red Oak Cemetery. The Rev. J.K. Wright will officiate.
The arrangements were made at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller.
