GALVESTON - Funeral services were held here Saturday for Mayo W. Neyland, Jr., 74, member of pioneer Hunt Count (sic) family who died last week in Texas City.

His father was a prominent local attorney, and his brother was the late Gen. Robert Neyland, football coach at Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Neyland lived in Greenville until his service in World War I.
