Death of Aged Lady
Mrs. Mary Dunlap, one of the oldest ladies in this county, died on Sunday at the home of her son Isaac L. Dunlap, in the village of Paradise. She was ninety-two years old and her death was due to old age. She was possessed of all her faculties up to the time of her death. Deceased was born in Leacock township, and passed her entire life in that neighborhood. She was the widow of Andrew Dunlap, who for many years was a justice of the peace in Lancaster township, and who died in 1854. She was a member of St. James' Episcopal church, of this city, and well known and highly respected in her neighborhood. The following children survive her: Dr. John M. Dunlap, of Paradise; Samuel Dunlap, of Eden; Miss Lizzie Myers, wife of Daniel Myers, of Sterling, Illinois; Mrs. Hallie Kauffman, wife of Reuben Kauffman, of Brooklyn, N.Y. Among her grandchildren are Dr. Francis Dunlap, of Manheim; A.J. Dunlap, connected with the Sprenger Brewing Company, in this city; Stephen Dunlap, cattle dealer, and Frank Dunlap, hotel keeper at Greenland. The funeral will take place tomorrow at one o'clock, with interment at Christ church, Intercourse.
