Ricardo, (Ric, Richard) died May 2, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was from Olongapo City, Philippines. He was retired from the U.S. Navy (MSC) and U.S. Postal Service. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea, Vietnam and a member of Fleet Reserve Association branch #084. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Maria Elena Marcelino; sons, Ricardo Conrado, Marc, Richard, Rommel, and James; daughters, Mary Marcelino-Jones, Rexie and Victoria; sister, Soledad Marcelino Reyes and brothers, Bayani and Ciriaco from the Philippines. Also survived by fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by daughter Cheryl Victoria and grandchildren Joshua and Micaela. Viewing will be on Friday, May 7th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Featheringill Mortuary, 6322 El Cajon Boulevard. Church services will be on Saturday, May 8th, at 11 a.m. at St. Therese of the Child Jesus, 6016 Camino Rico, followed by Military burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
