Farmer / Printer, married Kathryn Anna Wolfe on Dec. 16, 1933, they had two children: Betty Ann, and Larry Gene Zellers. He was born and raised on the Zellers North Farm, Mt. Morris township, purchased the Zellers South Farm in 1956, where he ran the operations till 1974 when he retired and moved to town. Spent some winters in Florida. He was also a champion trap shooter, awarded many patches and trophies for his efforts. He liked to bowl, and like to watch bowling. He took up golf after his retirement. Also had a interest in collecting and working on steam engines. Cracking, and making available hickory nuts to the locals for their dishes was a extra enjoyment. His nickname was "Speedy" which was given to him at Kable Printing Company where he was a pressman in the Rotary Press dept. for 50 years retiring in 1974. He had five grandchildren: Rhonda Kathryn Shelton, Penny Renee Shelton, Danny Eugene Zellers, Marta Lea Shelton, and David Lee Zellers. Had numerous great grandchildren too many to name here.
