HOBBS N.M. — Services for Anna Kate Caudle, 81, of Hobbs, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church in Hobbs with the Rev. Dean Mathis officiating.

Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary of Artesia, N.M.

She died Monday, June 3, 2002.

She was born Feb. 7, 1921, in Cisco. She married Brodie Burl Caudle Nov. 22, 1945, in Breckenridge. He died Feb. 22, 1969. She was a retired public school teacher in Juno, Texas, a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church and an adult literacy volunteer.

Survivors include a son, Brodie Lynn of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Janice Thomas of Artesia and Jean Anne Patanella of Anaheim, Calif.; a brother, Robert Blackburn of San Antonio; a sister, Madeline McKee of Lubbock; and four grandchildren.

The family will have a visitation at 1 p.m. Thursday at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church.
