Neyland is famously remembered as the most renowned football coach at the University of Tennessee. Through his years at Tennessee he had great success while leading the Volunteers. In his career as head coach his team won 173-31-12 and 103-17-10 in conference play. Neyland was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1956.
