Phebe was a pioneer, crossing the US with her husband to California during the Gold Rush. Phebe and Charles Levi Street settled in beautiful Sonora, Tuolumne County, California, where her husband became a practicing attorney, and later a Judge. Phebe and her family moved to Washington DC when her son, Harlow Levi Street, a Civil War soldier, was hired by the US Gov War Department. Phebe lived a full, rich life.
