Lena Ratliff - Retired Teacher
Lena Ratliff of Granbury, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999 at Granbury Care Center. She was 97.
Mrs. Ratliff was born March 26, 1901 in Hood County and married Giles J. Ratliff in Granbury. She was a lifelong resident and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a Shanley House Band member.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Giles Ratliff and one son, Jack Ratliff.
Survivors include two sons, Robert W. Ratliff and Joe Owens Ratliff, both of Granbury; four daughters, Geraldine Massey of Kennedale, Corrine Finley of Granbury, Laura Willis of Godley and Betty Collins of Cleburne; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Services were Friday, March 26, 1999 at Martin's Chapel in Granbury with Rev. John Robbins and Dr. Eugene Robertson officiating. Interment was in Nubbin Ridge Cemetery. Martin's Funeral Home directed.
