KING, WILLARD – age 59 years, 3 months and 28 days, passed away into eternal live on Sept. 19, 1975 at Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tenn. He is survived by his wife, ELLA MAE. WILLARD was born May 21, 1916 in McCreary County and was the son of the late MARY ETTA and JOHN PRINCE KING. He lived and worked in this area almost all of his life and was a very respected member of his community. WILLARD joined the Second Otter Creek United Baptist Church in 1958 and was a member of good standing until his passing. WILLARD was married to ELLA MAE KING on June 25, 1937 at Revelo, Ky., and to this marriage was born eight children. They are: IMOGENE KING, Revelo, Ky., BONNIE KING, DONNIE KING, BARBARA SPARKS, PHYLLIS BOWEN, LARRY KING, DAVID KING and JOHN PAUL KING all of Strunk, Ky. In addition, he is survived by a sister and four brothers. They are: MAUDE ROSS, Strunk, Ky., EVERETT KING, Russel Springs, Ky., VIRGIL KING, HERBERT KING, MITCHEL KING all of Strunk, Ky. A brother, HAYWOOD KING preceeded WILLARD in death. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren. His passing will be deeply mourned by a host of friends and neighbors, but most especially by members of the family. Our sorrow is his happiness. Our loss is his eternal gain.
