Berta Couch Hall, 87, of the Berea Health Care Center, formerly of Richmond, went to our Lord on the night of December 27, 2009. Mrs. Hall was born on April 5, 1922 in Perry County, the daughter of the late James N. and Elizabeth Mayhew Couch. She was a homemaker, attended the Union City Christian Church and the Waco Baptist Church and was the widow of Earl Raymond Hall.
She is survived by two sons; Stephen Hall (Tracy) of Richmond, KY, Nathan Hall (Samantha) of Nicholasville, KY, one brother; Arlie Couch of New Market, AL, five sisters; Vada McDowell, Slemp, KY, Mahalia Hall, Viper, KY, Lois Greer, Jenkins, KY, Bonnie Combs, Ypsilanti, MI, Sandra Gail Collins, Somerset, KY, five grandchildren; Lauren, Micah, Luke, Matthew and Tyler Hall, one great grandson; Michael Hagen and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Terry and Raleigh Couch and one sister; Mary Ruth Deaton.
