Graveside services for Gertrude Loughridge of Dallas who died Saturday in C.C. Young Memorial Home will be 2 p.m. Monday in Forest Park Cemetery will (sic) Rev. Larry George officiating.

Mrs. Loughbridge (sic) was born Oct. 28, 1898, in Floyd. She was the daughter of L.A. and Gertrude Speight Pattillo. She married T.L. Loughridge in Dallas. She was a graduate of East Texas State University and taught school for 40 years in Houston before she retired. She was active in the Houston Teachers Association and in state and national teachers organizations. She was a member of Kavanaugh United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two nephews, Louis A. Pattillo of Lubbock and Bill Pattillo of San Angelo; two nieces, Letha Bell McInterturff of San Angelo and Maine Blanton of Liberty; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Allie Pattillo; and one sister Lula Mae Pattillo.

The family will be at Peters Funeral Home for 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today.

Mrs. Loughridge died Saturday in Dallas. She was born Oct. 28, 1898, in Floyd, the daughter of L.A. Pattillo and Gertrude Speight Pattillo. She was married to T.L. Loughridge in Dallas. She was a graduate of East Texas State University and retired from Houston schools after teaching 40 years. She was active in the Houston Teachers Association and state and national teachers associations. Mrs. Loughridge was a member of Kavanaugh Methodist Church in Greenville.

She is survived by two nephews, Louis A. Patillo (sic) of Lubbock and Bill Patillo (sic) of San Angelo; two nieces, Letha Bell McInterturff of San Angelo and Maxine Blanton of Liberty; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Loughridge was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, a brother, Allie Patillo (sic) and a sister, Lula Mae Pattillo.

Services are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home.
