Funeral services for William Edgar Seets, 85, retired farmer, were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Spicer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Knight of Childress officiating.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home.

Mr. Seets died Monday night at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. He had been a patient of the Martin Nursing Home at Claude.

He was born February 23, 1885 in Cleburne and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Memphis.

Survivors include a son, Charles of Amarillo; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Stone of Hedley; a half-brother, Clyde Seets of Fort Worth and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dilmar Koonz, Lee Snoody, E.C. Stone, Y.F. Snodgrass, Troy Snodgrass, and J.H. Stone.

MEMPHIS - William E. Seets, 85, retired farmer, died Monday night in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. He had been living in the Martin Nursing Home at Claude.

Mr. Seets was a native of Cleburn [sic] and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Memphis.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Spicer Funeral Home of Memphis. Arrangements in Amarillo were by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors.
