G. Joann Martin, 63, of Sterling died March 29, 1996 at her home.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 2 at Chaney-Walters Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Gregory. Fitch officiating.
Mrs. Martin was born March 31, 1932 to William and Edith (Levelle) Blair in Osceola, Iowa, where she grew up and graduated from high school. She later moved to Sterling.
She married Warren "Mike" Martin on June 26, 1954 in Sterling. They moved to McCook, Neb., for two years and then back to Sterling, where she has resided since. She was assistant manager of the Komac Paint Store for 12 years.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Bill of Sterling; a daughter, Ten Strohmeyer and husband Bryan of Sterling; two brothers, Kenneth Blair and wife Helen, and Max and wife Mary, all of Osceo la; in-laws, Maurice and Mary Stice of Cherokee, Okia., and G. Joann Marty and Coleen Martin of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a, son, Kelly Blair Martin; a brother, Bill Blair; a sister, Evelyn Bartholomew; a nephew, Tim Bartholomew; and a sister-in-law,
