ORANGE, Texas — Services for Douglas D. Adams Sr., 71, a Bonham native who lived at Orange and who died Monday, Feb 7, 1977 at Veterans Administration Hospital at Houston, were held Wednesday at Fuller Funeral Home at Orange.
Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in West Orange.
Mr. Adams served in the U. S. Air Force for 30 years and served as postmaster in Kansas City, Missouri for 15 years. He was a Methodist and belonged to Orange Aerie 2523, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors are a son, Douglas D. Adams Jr. of Orange, daughter, Patricia Adams of Sacramento, California, brothers, Leon Adams of West Orange, Earl Adams of Newport News, Virginia and Robert Adams of Dallas, and a sister, Mrs. Rita Mae Trout of Bonham.
