"MRS. C. C. KIRK"

"Mrs. C. C. Kirk, nee Emarious Terry, native of Alabama and resident of Biloxi for the past 30 years, died this morning at 8:40 o'clock, after an illness of some time. She was 64 years of age and was one of Biloxi's oldest citizens, she having resided the greater part of her life in the eastern part of the city. Mrs. Kirk is survived by one brother, George Terry, of Biloxi; one son, Walter Kirk, of Alabama; and two daughters, Mesdames Arthur Garland and Willie Wentzell, both of Biloxi. While arrangements have not been completed the funeral will probably take place tomorrow afternoon from the home of her son-in-law, Willie Wentzell, 1031 East Howard avenue, services being conducted by Rev. John Campbell, pastor of the Prebysterian church, with interment in the Biloxi cemetery."

"The funeral of the late Mrs. C. C. Kirk, who died at her home on East Howard avenue yesterday morning, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the home of her son-in-law, Willie Wentzell, 1031 East Howard avenue. Services will be conducted by Rev. O. S. Lewis, pastor of the Main Street Methodist church, and interment will be made in the Biloxi cemetery."

Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Records, Book 13, pg 25: Enarious was 64 years, 1 month, 4 days old when she died at her home, 1031 E. Howard Ave., Biloxi, from influenza.
