Reverend E. V. Ginn, 79, of Batesville, died Friday, November 1, 2002, at Baptist Memorial-North Mississippi in Oxford of heart failure.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 4, at 11 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Terry Tribble officiated the services. Interment was in the Shady Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Wells Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Ginn, son of the late Emmanuel V. and Stella R. Ward Ginn, was born March 26, 1923, in Rector, Ark. He was proceeded in death by one daughter, Gayle Ann Ginn. He was a retired Baptist Minister, and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Synder Ginn of Batesville; two daughters, Sharon R. Ginn Grubbs of Jackson, and Iris K. Ginn Campbell of Bruce; three sons, Terry Lynn Ginn of Memphis, Tenn., Randy Ginn of Flint, Mich., and Tim Ginn of Batesville; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
