Georgia "Fairy" Holbert Parten, 92, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998.
Mrs. Parten was a daughter of the late Lee and Callie E. Jackson
Holbert and the widow of Hurschel H. Parten Sr. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home,
Winder, with the Revs. Chris Chandler and R.C. Parten officiating.
Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Eula Mae Parten White, Athens, and
Beatrice Parten Jackson, Leslie; three sons, R.C. Parten, Bogart, W.
Lamar Parten, Winder, and H.H. Parten Jr., Marietta; 22 grandchildren;
37 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
