MRS. NANCY DICKSON BUNTIN, of Athens, died Thursday, July 26th.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 28, at 11 o'clock at First Baptist Church. Burial was held in Colbert Cemetery.
She was born in Franklin County, a daughter of the late Ben H. and Anna Jane Williams Dickson.
She was a former resident of Colbert but had lived in Athens for the past 30 years.
She was a former music and education teacher. She attended Bessie Tift College and later the State Normal Teachers College in Athens.
She was a member of Athens First Baptist Church, a member of Jenkins Sunday School class and a member of the Rose & Dahlia Garden Club.
Her survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Wolfe of Middletown, Ohio; two sons, Dr. Harold D. Loden of Springfield, VA and Barnard Loden of Atlanta; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Dave Radabaugh; two stepsons, Tommy Buntin of Athens and Kenneth Buntin of Columbia, SC; 6 grandchildren.
She is also survived by 3 brothers, Jeptha W. Dickson of Ft. Pierce, FL; Henry Dickson of Lilburn and Jim H. Dickson of Royston.
