Mrs. Williams was born Nov. 8, 1921, in Beatrice, Nebraska, and was the daughter of the late John S. Marten and Rozina Chipman Marten.
Alicine was a member of the Elkton Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Elkton and was active in many local clubs and organizations.
On Nov. 18, 1940, she married Frank Alden Williams, who preceded her in death May 29, 2007. Her brother, Donald J. Marten and her sister, Burdette Marten Barnard also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Marten "Buz" Williams and wife, Mary "Rabbit" of Louisa; a daughter, Loris Ann Dean and husband, Kemper, of Waynesboro; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church near Elkton with the Rev. Rob Buchanan and the Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
