NEW SITE - Hubert Sanders, 94, died Thurs., August 1, 2002, at the Longwood Community Living Center after an extended illness.

He was a farmer and a member of the Roaring Hollow Church of Christ. He had served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcell Sanders; his parents, Oscar and Dora Sanders; four brothers, Walter, Clee, Archie and R.C. Sanders; two sisters, Ida Sanders and Rona Sanders; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Calvin Barber officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Survivors include two sisters, Rubye S. Miller of Tupelo and Jean McDowell of Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Reba Aldridge of Booneville and Dean Cromeans of New Site; one brother, Tommie Sanders of Tupelo; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will continue until service time today at the funeral home.
