Frances' father was Wesley Goldsmith and her mother was Margaret Isbell.

Austin Cook married Frances Goldsmith in 1845 in Martin Mills, Wayne County, Tennessee.

Frances Cook is buried at Weaver Cemetery on Banner Mt., VanBuren County, Arkansas.

In the 1920 Census, Frances is identified as being 102 years of age and living in Holly, Van Buren, Arkansas with her daughter, Martha Carroll.

Their suggestion:

Jerry, I will leave it up to you to decide when Francis was born. I just wanted to let you know that we are making a substantial correction to the birth date for her husband, Austin Cook. The census data look about right for Austin, 1821 to 1826. As you probably know, they show Francis a year younger.

This is being silly, but if the gravestone were right, Austin's mother was four years old when he was born.
