Mary A. Blake, 69, of 26489 Bonney Road, Watertown, died of congestive heart failure Thursday in Samaritan Medical Center. Mrs. Blake was a homemaker.

She enjoyed bingo.

Born Nov. 24, 1934, in Watertown, daughter of Claude and Catherine Litz Lawton, she attended Watertown High School.

She married Allen E. Blake of Michigan, whom she met while he was stationed with the Army at Pine Camp (now Fort Drum), in 1953. Mr. Blake, a worker on the Bob Gardner farm for several years, died in 1984.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, five daughters and three sons-in-law, four brothers, three sisters and a brother-in-law, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A son, Jack O., was murdered in 1972 at age 10. A daughter, Rose M. Wiley, died April 9. Three brothers, William P., Frederick and Roland Lawton, three sisters, Myrtle Petrie, Laura Monaghan and Alice McConnell, and two great-grandsons also died before her.
