DYER
LEONARD - Mrs. Virginia Dyer, 84, of Randolph died in a Bonham Nursing
Home at 9:20 A.M.
Funeral services will be at the Randolph Baptist church at 2:30 p.m.
today with the Rev. O.R. Carry and the Rev. Bob Cantwell officiating.
Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery with arrangements by Wise Funeral
Home of Bonham.
Mrs. Dyer was born in the Randolph Community on May 6, 1886 and had been
a life-long resident of the area. She was a member of the Randolph Baptist
Church.
Survivors include the widower, Grover Dyer of Randolph; a sister, Mrs.
J.B. Cole of Sherman; a niece, Mrs. Ruth Burnett of Randolph; a great nephew
and a great niece. (researcher's note: Virginia Cooper Dyer was the
daughter of Joseph D. Cooper and Virginia E.M. "Jane" Boone and the
granddaughter of Fannin County, Texas pioneers Joseph R. Boone and Virginia
E.M. Crenshaw.)
