Born in England she traveled by ship "Enoch Train" on 12 Apr 1856 then by train to Winter Quarters. At age 1 the family crossed the plains by handcart under Daniel D McArthur arriving in the Salt Lake Valley 26 September 1856. The family settled in Beaver until Ada was 18 then moved to Washington City, Washington County, Utah. It was there she met her husband Brigham Young McMullin. They were married 11 Jan 1877. Together they had 14 children. They were very active in their Community of Leeds.
