Mississippi, Olive Branch - Sandra Love Cawthon, 57, died, Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Germantown Methodist Hospital after a long and very brave battle with breast cancer. Born June 8, 1952, daughter of the late Florene and Henry Love, in Memphis where she was raised. She moved to Mississippi shortly after her first child was born. She was a homemaker, a very loving mother and wife, and a great friend. She graduated from Kingsbury High School, Class of 1970. She worked for a brief period at Home Federal Savings & Loan and had a brief stint as a stay at home mother. She recently retired as office manager of Olive Branch Country Club two years ago. She was preceeded in death by her sister, Jean Love Fraley. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Wilford Cawthon; her son, Charles Cawthon; her daughter, Shelley Cawthon, all three of Olive Branch; two brothers, Jimmy Love of Memphis and Robert Love of Olive Branch; two nephews, Tim Fraley of Hernando and Kenny Fraley of Horn Lake; and three great and life-long friends, Agnes Sherrard of Southaven, Becky Sacco of Olive Branch, and Brenda Naderifar of Bartlett. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Memphis Funeral Home, Germantown Parkway Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens, Bartlett, TN.
