SOD - Jimmie D. McKinney, 66, of Joes Creek, Sod died Feb. 27, 2001, in Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, after a long illness.
He was a member of Laborers Local 1353 and was a Baptist.
Surviving: wife, Phyllis; daughters, Darrell Tudor of Joes Creek, Shelly Beam of Joes Creek; son, Mike McKinney of Joes Creek; sister, Pearl Johnson of Barboursville; four grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 1, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Carl Lester Bell officiating. Burial will be in Pauley Cemetery, Joes Creek.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at the funeral home.
