Berniece Broglin of Oolitic, IN, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at the Hospitality House. Born on April 26, 1903, in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of Fred and Cora (Trueblood) Baker. She married Albert M. Broglin on May 29 1920, in Clark County, IN, and he died April 27, 1952.

Surviving are one son, A.B. Broglin of Bedford, IN; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty L. Brown; two sisters, Freeda Casada and Erma F. Lawyer; two brothers, Roland C. Baker and one in infancy; and one grandson.

She was a co-owner of Broglin Hardware & Launderama in Oolitic, and was a member of the Oolitic Baptist Church.

Services for Berniece Broglin will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 29th, with the Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
