She came to Missouri with her parents, Phillip and Easter Jones, in the year 1869.
She was married to John Wesley Neal February 11, 1872.
To this union 7 children were born: James H. Neal, Chas. Neal, Mrs. Fannie (Neal) Robertson, Thomas E. Neal, one infant unnamed, Anes Neal and Minnie Neal. All these preceded her in death except one son, Chas. Neal, of Success, Mo., and one daughter, Mrs. Fannie Robertson, of Buffalo, Oklahoma. She also leaves one living sister, Mrs. Minerva Wolfe, Plato, Mo.; 8 grand-children; 14 great-grandchildren, beside a host of other relatives and friends.
The deceased was a faithful member of the Baptist church, having joined the church when she was 17 years of age, in the year 1872.
She placed her letter with Liberty Baptist church and remained a member until death.
In her younger days she was a regular attendant at church, especially at the Saturday meetings.
Services were conducted by Rev. J. R. Halbrook at Liberty church, 2 p.m., Saturday, April 1st.
Pallbearers were: Roy Huff, Frank Price, Mont Huff, Homer Pittman, Mart Williams, John McKee. Burial in Liberty cemetery under the direction of Elliott Funeral Home.
