Evelyn Louise DAVIS, 72, died at 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2000 in Carbondale Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 4, in the Poulson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. DAVIS was born on July 30, 1927, in West City, the daughter of William "Jasper" ARMSTRONG Sr. and Stella (WILSON) ARMSTRONG.
She married William J. "Willie" Davis, who preceded her in death in June of 1995.
She was a homemaker and a fomer (sic) Avon representative.
She was a member of the North Benton Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Keith and wife, Janice DAVIS of Logan; a stepdaughter, Judy and husband Carroll HOLMAN of East Alton; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Marlene and husband Jack ROACH of West Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, William J. ARMSTRONG Jr.
